Wake up each morning with a beautiful view of the slopes at Fanny Hill ski run. The unit has a convertible sleeping den in addition to two bedrooms. The bedrooms have their own private bath with a third bath off the den area.
If you like to play in the snow, come to Snowmass Village. Downhill skiing is available on 4 mountains: Snowmass, Aspen, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, with cross-country and snow-shoeing trails galore. The Snowmass Rec Center has a heated pool, exercise and pilates rooms, a basketball court and more. And the rodeo rink is flooded for ice skating. For the spectator, in addition to star-gazing, there are World Cup Races, ESPN Winter X Games and big air competitions for starters. Actually, watching your own kids or grandkids taking their first lessons right out your window can't be beat! For real excitement, take a dog sled ride from the Krabloonik Kennels, or snow mobile in the Maroon Bells area, take a snowcat up to Burlingame cabin, or sleigh ride or cross-country out to the Pine Creek Cookhouse for lunch or dinner. Great fun, and incredible scenery.
Long rated the #l resort for dining, Aspen/Snowmass has over 100 different restaurants. Our favorite, however, is the Artisan, located right next door in the Stonebridge Inn.
Taster's Pizza delivers!
You won't be disappointed with the art scene, either, and please drop by the art workshops at world-famous Anderson Ranch Art Center.
There are more activities for the kids, too, including the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center. Check it out!
